UNICEF Bangladesh is committed to providing essential support for children and their families in line with the Bangladesh Preparedness Response Plan (BPRP) and the Socio-Economic Response Framework (SERF - being developed). These pages provide an overview of the situation of Bangladeshi and Rohingya children in Bangladesh, as well as the UNICEF response across health (including immunization, maternal health, antenatal care, postnatal care and HIV), nutrition (including acute malnutrition, infant and young child feeding/IYCF, and iron and folic acid), risk communication, education (primary, secondary and vocational), child protection (violence against children, early marriage, child labour, social work among others) and water, sanitation and hygiene (including handwashing and menstrual hygiene management). This includes the direct and indirect socioeconomic impact of COVID-19 on children and their families. Wherever possible, information is provided by division: Barisal, Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Dhaka, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rangamati, Rangpur and Sylhet.
